Σύντομο Βιογραφικό

O Παναγιώτης Γεωργαντής γεννήθηκε στις 5 Δεκεμβρίου του 1984. Μεγάλωσε στην Χίο και το 2002 ξεκίνησε τις σπουδές του στο Τμήμα Βιολογίας του Πανεπιστημίου Κρήτης. Ολοκληρώνοντας τις προπτυχιακές σπουδές του, παρακολούθησε Μεταπτυχιακό Πρόγραμμα Ειδίκευσης στην Περιβαλλοντική Βιολογία, στο ίδιο τμήμα. Σε ερευνητικό επίπεδο ασχολήθηκε με τα χερσαία μαλάκια (σαλιγκάρια).

Από το 2007 απασχολείται στην έκθεση του Μουσείου Φυσικής Ιστορίας Κρήτης βοηθώντας κυρίως στην επικοινωνία με τους επισκέπτες και στην υλοποίηση των εκπαιδευτικών προγραμμάτων του Μουσείου. Ξέρει να μιλάει Αγγλικά και λίγα Γερμανικά. Του αρέσει πολύ ο σχεδιασμός και η υλοποίηση εκπαιδευτικών προγραμμάτων και εκδηλώσεων καθώς και η συζήτηση επιστημονικών θεμάτων με επισκέπτες όλων των ηλικιών.

Στον ελεύθερο του χρόνο ασχολείται με το θέατρο συμμετέχοντας σε διάφορες θεατρικές παραστάσεις. Του αρέσουν πολύ τα ταξίδια και η επίσκεψη σε μουσεία φυσικής ιστορίας και επιστημών σε διάφορες πόλεις.
