These programs started in 2004 and continue until today as they attract the interest of many of our little friends.
They are aimed at primary school children, last 5 consecutive days a week and are implemented every day from morning to noon. Children become little scientists following the inquiry-based- learning methodology. Through observation, exploration, play, construction, drama, painting and clay, online research, multimedia and discussions with the Museum’s expert scientists, children gather information, observe and discover the knowledge by themselves.
On the last day of each week there is a presentation of the children’s activities to their parents and friends. The specialized museum educators of the NHMC-UoC, in collaboration with the Museum’s scientists, guide and coordinate the activities.
The programs are announced on the Museum’s website in May of each year. Due to the limited number of children who take part in these programs, interested parents must declare their children’s participation in time.
