Research interests

  • Creation, filing, cataloging, digitization, preservation, protection and management of the Museum’s collections (bones, taxidermy, alcohol samples, samples, frozen samples, etc.)
  • Collection of animals and material to be studied and the description of the studying stations
  • Breeding animals and creating suitable conditions for their living and reproduction
  • Caring and providing first aid to poisoned and injured animals
  • Handling animals to obtain morphological and other data
  • Management of spaces and materials of the Museum of Natural History of Crete
